Advertising Policy
Last Updated: 2026-05-04
This Advertising Policy describes how Toussaint Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our") may present paid promotions ("Advertisements") on or through this site ("the Service") and how we aim to protect the integrity of medical education content.
The Service may be offered without charge in whole or in part; Advertisements may help cover operating costs.
Separation of Advertisements and educational content
We maintain editorial control over learner-facing educational materials—including questions, answer options, explanations, scoring explanations, rationales, SMEs' review summaries where shown, adaptive selection logic tied to correctness and learning progression, and other instructional copy. Advertisers do not purchase the ability to dictate correct answers, change medical meaning hidden inside educational copy, omit standard-of-care disclosures required for fidelity, or turn educational items into covert product placements.
Advertising delivery and measurement tools are organized so that sponsorship does not determine whether scientific or educational assertions in items are academically sound—those judgments remain ours and, where applicable, subject matter experts' under our workflows.
Advertisements are labeled or otherwise identifiable as advertisements where reasonably practicable for the placements we use.
Not an endorsement
Advertisements are not endorsements of any product, service, company, or therapy. Brands or medications mentioned only as realistic clinical vignette context remain educational—not advertising—unless clearly labeled.
Restricted categories (illustrative)
Examples commonly excluded include placements principally promoting unlawful products or conduct; fraud; malware or phishing; pornographic services; spam-enablement tools; explosives; counterfeit drugs or devices; and irresponsible solicitations relating to tobacco, nicotine, alcohol, gambling, firearms, or materially similar inventories that are incompatible with stewardship of learner trust. Eligibility evolves with law and advertising partner suitability rules; this list is illustrative only.
Third-party destinations
Ads may navigate you to sites or storefronts operated by advertisers, not Toussaint Ventures LLC. Destination terms and privacy policies govern what happens after you leave the Service.
Our discretion
We decide whether to accept, reject, reschedule, geographically limit, or remove individual placements. Advertising delivery depends on third-party integrations and programmatic markets—occasional mis-renders or intermittent outages may occur consistent with uptime and liability disclaimers in our Terms of Service.
Advertisers are responsible for claims, disclosures, approvals, and labeling obligations applicable to their creatives and regulated products where relevant. After a reasonable and good-faith review, we may withhold or remove placements we believe are plainly unlawful or materially deceptive.
Changes
We may update this Advertising Policy. When we materially change it, we will post an updated Policy and revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page.
Contact
Questions about Advertising may be directed through Contact us inside the Service. If we designate a mailbox for advertiser inquiries publicly, we will link it here. If you voluntarily send suggestions about placements or tooling, you grant Toussaint Ventures LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide royalty-free license to use that feedback—without attribution obligation—to refine policies or enforcement tooling. Do not include identifiable patient information in unsolicited feedback.
Technical implementation details—including partner networks and measurement choices—live in operational run-books and evolve as integrations reach production.
